Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using ChromaPort. By accessing or using the website at www.chromaport.co you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About ChromaPort

ChromaPort is a free online colour-tool web application that helps artists, illustrators, and creators find colour matches, build palettes, and explore shade relationships across multiple art marker and colouring-tool brands.

ChromaPort is operated by Rehoboth Contracting Services LLC trading as ChromaPort, based in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@chromaport.co.

2. Eligibility

ChromaPort may be used by anyone aged 13 or over. By using the service you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. The Service

ChromaPort provides the following features free of charge:

Colour Converter — find equivalent marker codes across brands for a given colour
Shading Tool — generate lighter and darker shade suggestions for a base colour
Palette Builder — compose and export custom colour palettes
Palette Library — browse and save curated colour collections

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time without notice.

4. Colour Accuracy Disclaimer

Important — please read.
ChromaPort's colour-match results are provided as a guide only. Actual marker colours vary significantly by screen calibration, monitor profile, paper type, ink batch, blending, and age of the product. ChromaPort does not guarantee that any colour match will appear identical in real life. Results should be used as a starting point for your creative process, not as definitive specifications.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with any of the marker brands referenced in our database (including but not limited to Copic, Ohuhu, Arrtx, Stabilo, Prismacolor, or Faber-Castell).

5. Optional Contributions (Pay-What-You-Like)

ChromaPort is free. We offer an optional "pay what you like" contribution if you would like to support the development of the tool. Contributions are:

Entirely voluntary — the full service is available at no cost regardless of whether you contribute
Non-refundable once processed, except where required by law
Processed securely by Stripe, Inc. — we do not store your payment card details

Voluntary contributions are not purchases of goods or services and do not entitle you to any premium features, preferential treatment, or future obligations from ChromaPort.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ChromaPort to:

Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the website by automated means
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the colour database or application code
Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website or its servers
Submit false, misleading, or harmful content via any contact or feedback form
Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

7. Intellectual Property

The ChromaPort name, logo, visual design, colour database compilation, and application code are the intellectual property of Rehoboth Contracting Services LLC t/a ChromaPort. All rights are reserved.

Third-party brand names, product codes, and trade marks referenced within ChromaPort (e.g. Copic, Ohuhu) belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in ChromaPort does not imply any endorsement or affiliation.

You may use the colours, palettes, and match results you generate through ChromaPort freely in your own creative work. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute the ChromaPort application, database, or design without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

ChromaPort uses the following third-party services:

Vercel — hosting and analytics
Stripe — optional payment processing
Google Fonts — typography

These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which you should review independently.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

ChromaPort is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of the service for any particular purpose
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, ChromaPort
We are not responsible for purchasing decisions made based on colour match results
We are not liable for any interruption, suspension, or discontinuation of the service

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where relevant).

10. Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of ChromaPort after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
